Mark Wesolowski opened the doors of Renew Restoration in February of 1996 after years of working in this highly specialized field, performing restoration and supervising numerous commercial and residential projects throughout Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Baltimore.

Over the years, Renew has worked to perfect the art of restoration, combining old style craftsmanship with modern weather stripping and epoxies to craft a historically correct and energy-efficient window.

The Renew staff takes professionalism very seriously and we want to assure our customers that we take the utmost care while working in their home or building. Renew has an EPA Certified Renovator on staff to ensure the job site remains clean of debris that may or may not contain lead. Full cleaning includes HEPA vac, dry/static wipes, and wet wipes to collect any dirt particles. Poly plastic walls are also used in most situations.

Wood Window Restoration

Our window technicians, with their years of experience, can take the most damaged sash and frames and restore them to their original beauty using the finest techniques in historic restoration. Where necessary, existing paint will be stripped, epoxy will be applied to damaged areas, and broken glass will be removed, replaced and re-glazed. Then, weather-strip will be installed, and the sash and frame will be finished with the highest quality paints. Finally, new or restored hardware will be installed.
